Our very own Marching Patriots were invited to participate in the many festivities  surrounding the Indy 500. On Friday night they attended a party put on for the participating bands at the Indianapolis Children's Museum with lots of fun, food & music. Saturday morning they marched in the Festival 500 Parade for an audience of over 250,000 people. Following the parade, they had an afternoon to shop, and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. They finished off the weekend by marching around the Indy 500's 2.5 mile track in the pre-race pageant, then off to the stands to watch a very exciting race.  Formula One racing has some new fans!
