Band Ensembles
First Colonial High School houses a comprehensive, award winning band program that features many and varied ensembles:
  •  Marching Patriots and Color Guard
  •  Concert Band
  •  Wind Ensemble
  •  Jazz Band
  •  Honors Ensembles (Brass, Flute, Percussion, Saxophone)
  •  Indoor Guard

The award winning Marching Patriots have performed at national venues such as the Orange Bowl Halftime Show and the Indy 500. The Wind Ensemble has played at Carnegie Hall in 2004 and the Kennedy Center in 2006.

The FC Jazz Band has performed at the Chrysler Hall and hosted the Great American Music Ensemble (G.A.M.E.), the "Turtle Island String Quartet", and, the Jazz Legend Maynard Ferguson and his Big Bop Nouveau Band.
